Griptel’s head office is located at Vøyenenga in Bærum municipality, Norway. In addition to management, administration, design and engineering functions, the headquarter also contains a warehouse and logistics facility. Griptel’s top modern manufacturing facility – Gripsteel – is located in Riga, Latvia. The combination of proprietary design and production at our own factory enable complete control of the production process and product quality. We also have a warehouse in Riga serving the Baltics.

INTERNATIONAL BUISNESS DEVELOPER

The company has significant growth ambitions in the European market, and we are currently seeking an International Business Developer for a newly created position. Main responsibilities will be to analyze, present and act on the potential in various markets, providing necessary decision documents to the Board as a basis for investing in each market. 

Furthermore, the right candidate for the position will identify and evaluate partner strategies to further increase the market presence of GRIPtel products. 

The right candidate should, on basis of the above, be able to find the right entry potential in each market.

The international Business Developer has a broad network that align with GRIPtel´s business and understands the importance of relation building to build a solid pipeline.  

The position reports to The CEO of GRIPtel.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Strategic Business Development
  • Penetrate and grow new geographical markets and verticals.
  • Use the available, and develop new, market analyzes for each market and act on them. 
  • Find and activate agents/business partners 
  • Promote and sell GRIPtel as a total provider of mounting equipment to new markets and clients
  • Actively communicate, report, and discuss business opportunities with GRIPtel management
  • Take ownership of results generation for the growth initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred Master, (minimum Bachelor) technical/strategic/management
  • 7+ years’ international business development experience
  • Proven track record of building solid business relations
  • Experienced negotiator and relation builder in an international environment
  • Solid contributor in strategic discussions with focus on the commercial side
  • International sales experience
