Job Description:

As the Senior Controlling Manager, you will oversee business and project controlling activities, including monitoring project budgets and personnel costs. You will ensure financial and liquidity planning compliance, enabling comprehensive oversight of our company KPIs. You will assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and investor reports. You will evaluate cost-effectiveness and collaborate closely with management, financial accounting, and financial controllers. Your responsibilities will include performing target/actual comparisons, monthly financial statement analysis, liquidity planning, currency hedging, and guarantee business management. You will interact and communicate effectively with various departments such as project management, procurement, and external partners.

You will verify new customers’ personal and business data according to KYC principles. You will analyze net working capital and convert strategic objectives into KPIs, applying these metrics strategically within The Company. You will identify essential financial accounting systems and contribute to their implementation.

Additionally, you will create budget plans, compare actual versus budgeted figures, and present these findings within the financial accounting systems.

Candidate Profile:

  • Academic degree in business studies with a focus on controlling and finance or equivalent qualifications.
  • Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling.
  • Extensive experience in financial analysis.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in German, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools.
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to develop independent routines.
  • Strong team and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to our German office regularly.
