The Data Scient/Engineer will work in our offices in Oslo, closely collaborating with the team in Germany. 

Some travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your extensive knowledge and insights from large-scale, high-dimensional data to solve complex business problems through data preparation, modeling, and analysis. 
  • You develop and use data platforms and tools to develop and dimension storage systems.
  • You combine your programming skills with your knowledge of energy markets and the functioning of battery storage systems. 
  • You model new market scenarios to support business development.
  • To improve operational strategies in software development you create time series simulations.
  • You use data analytics to retrieve actionable insights in sales, engineering, development and operational management.

Personal Attributes:

  • Academic degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience/qualification
  • 3 years’ work and relevant professional experience as Energy Data Scientist or comparable. 
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English and/ or understand German
  • Flexibility to travel to German office regularly.
  • Team and communication skills.
  • Sense of responsibility, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in CI/CD is beneficial
  • Knowledge of battery technology and electrical engineering is beneficial
  • Knowledge of electricity markets and regulation is an advantage
