Technical Lead Engineer

This is a new and exciting Technical Lead Engineer opportunity with a focus on green technologies (e.g. carbon capture, battery, hydrogen fuel cells).

The right candidate will be self-motivated, able to work well with others, and can utilize both technology and engineering principles to overcome challenging tasks.

Responsible for:

  • The Technical Lead Engineer will be and integrated part of the engineering team
  • Technical lead in the project
  • Preliminary and detail Process/system design
  • Coordinate /Lead with the other project engineers
  • Responsible for writing the function and technical description of the projects and task for other disciplines to perform the tasks
  • Approve calculations and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment
  • Project work in multidiscipline teams
  • Active participation and defend the design in HAZIP, FMECA, design reviews etc.
  • Work alongside the Project Manager to deliver the technical requirements the project on time and to expected quality
  • Coordinate withe the sup-suppliers and consultants in the projects
  • Communicating the project objectives and delegating tasks to the team members
  • Reviewing and approving project designs
  • Scheduling and performing quality control checks
  • Preparing and presenting product engineering reports.

Formal Education

• B. Sc. / M. Sc. Engineering, Preferably Process, Mechanical, Electrical or Automation related Engineering

Experience from

  • Extensive work experience from engineering ( Feed and detail engineering).
  • Experience and knowledge of process and utility system and process control
  • Knowledge of process simulations
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards from maritime industry is advantageous, i.e DNV, BV, ABS Lloyds etc.
  • Knowledge and experience from hydrogen and fuel cell is advantageous but personell with other relevant experience are encouraged to apply
