CONTRACT MANAGER – NORDICS
Redo is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team in the sustainable energy sector. The Contract manager will lead and manage negotiations of small to large-scale gas sales agreement and support our growth in bio and natural gas sales across the Nordics.
About the role:
As a Contract Manager at Redo, you will play a key role in structuring and managing gas sales agreements to minimise risks and drive long-term financial sustainability. This position requires strong domain expertise, analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex agreements while balancing legal, financial and business considerations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage negotiations for gas sales agreements
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor contract performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and improved business outcomes
- Support pricing strategies, market analysis, and financial modeling for gas sales
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related issues, facilitating resolutions and process improvements.
- Ensure alignment between internal teams, corporate owners, and external partners to support the company’s broader strategic goals.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in proven track record of contract management, commercial negotiations, or energy sales.
Industry Knowledge:
Solid understanding of Norwegian & Swedish contract law and regulatory frameworks relevant to commercial agreements, as well as gas, and/or renewables energy markets, pricing mechanisms, and risk management.
Skills:
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations with multiple stakeholders
- Refined analytical skills and expertise in financial and legal document interpretation
- Strong Commercial acumen
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, evolving business environment
Languages:
Fluent in Scandinavian and English.
IT Proficiency:
Familiarity with MS Office, Google Workspace, and relevant contract and sales management systems.
