PORTFOLIO & LOGISTICS ANALYST
Turn data into better decisions for the energy transition
How do we ensure the right gas volumes are available, transport runs efficiently, and invoices match what has actually been delivered? At Redo Biosolutions, these questions are closely connected. We are looking for an analytical and structured Portfolio & Logistics Analyst to turn data into sound operational decisions.
Redo is evolving from a distributor into a producer of biomethane at its own plants. As production grows and our Nordic portfolio becomes more complex, we need accurate analysis, reliable controls and efficient workflows. This is an opportunity to take on a central role and help shape how we work.
The role:
You will maintain a clear view of supply, own production, stock and sales across Norway and Sweden. You will develop forecasts, check supply and transport costs, and identify opportunities to improve logistics performance.
The position combines analytical work with recurring operational tasks and clear monthly deadlines. It suits someone who takes pride in getting the details right and finding smarter ways to work. AI tools are already part of our daily operations, including the monthly transport reconciliation.
You will report to the Energy Manager and work closely with Logistics, Finance, Sales and Operations. The role is based in Oslo, with occasional travel to sites in Norway and Sweden.
Your key responsibilities
• Portfolio and forecasting: Monitor volume flows and stock positions, prepare weekly and monthly plans, and model the portfolio over the short, medium and long term.
• Invoice control and data quality: Reconcile delivered and invoiced volumes, check prices against contracts, resolve discrepancies and provide accurate volume data for month-end closing.
• Logistics improvement: Analyse transport costs, routes, transport modes and load utilisation, and recommend practical improvements.
• Analysis and automation: Assess the impact of new customers, suppliers and production projects, and develop documented, AI-supported workflows.
You will also provide volume and mass-balance data for sustainability certification, which is led by HSEQ.
Your background:
You will typically have 2–3 years of experience in an analytical role within energy, commodities, logistics, transport planning or supply chains. You have strong Excel and modelling skills and can bring clarity to large, imperfect data sets.
We are looking for:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, industrial economics, logistics, energy or another quantitative field.
• Experience in data analysis, reconciliation and quality assurance.
• Practical, everyday use of AI tools for analysis, data processing or automation.
• Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language: Norwegian, Swedish or Danish.
• A home base in the Oslo area, or willingness to relocate.
Knowledge of energy markets or gas logistics is an advantage, as is experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, ERP systems or invoice-approval workflows.
How you work:
You are precise, independent and interested in what the numbers tell you. When you find a discrepancy, you investigate the cause and follow it through to resolution.
You enjoy a clear delivery rhythm and take ownership of deadlines and quality. You are curious about technology and look for ways to improve repetitive tasks. You use AI thoughtfully, check its output and remain accountable for the results.
You will join a small team with short decision-making lines. The role suits someone who enjoys taking responsibility, collaborating across functions and explaining complex information clearly.
What we offer
• A central role in a Nordic energy company undergoing significant development.
• The opportunity to influence costs, operations and decisions through your analysis.
• Varied responsibilities spanning energy, finance, logistics and technology.
• Modern AI tools as a natural part of your working day.
• Close collaboration with experienced colleagues and direct access to management.
• A permanent, full-time position based in Oslo.
